Thursday's Thoughts

- I am ready for Friday night! My dearest hubby has been out of town for work this week, and I am tired!
- I have to be honest, I was dreading this week and it being 24/5 with me and my girl. However, we have been having some fun around here.
- My child seems more grown up to me this week, or maybe, I am just noticing more.
- The advantage of being the only one here is that I have been sleeping really well. I am still getting up to workout in the mornings, then hang out with the kid all day. I do not recall when I have ever slept so well.**
- Single parents are amazing. Truly. I do not know how you do it, I applaud you.
- HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
- I entered the Fitness Magazine Face of Fitness Contest. Feel free to vote for me here. And know that your votes are very appreciated!
- I am happy to report that my child adjusted well to the time change. She's going to bed around 8, and hasn't been waking up until 9:00 or so. She's also been napping for at least two hours. Hmmmm, maybe she's having a growth spurt.**
- What is happening in Japan is so devastating, and it is breaking my heart. However, if the news keeps reporting on that followed up by a certifiably crazy celebrity, the NCAA Final Four, or anything like that, I may lose my mind. In light of how lives have been so extremely altered, do celebrities really need such attention? I do not think so. And this is where I end my thoughts, on Japan, the people, the country, the lives forever changed.
**I should have never written those statements last night. I could not fall asleep, until around 12:30 am. And, my child woke up at 6:00 am and never went back to sleep. Double serving of Spark, here I come, and yes, we will take an early nap.
