Jaden is home!

For those of you who have been praying for sweet little Jaden, thank you!  He is at home with his family now, and they are transitioning from life in the hospital to life at home!  Please continue to pray for them and his continued healing!  Here's a recent note from his Daddy, which was written the last week of October.  They were sent home, with Jaden, from the hospital on October 30th:

Well...it looks like our little one is coming home.  On Friday of last week---I was told he would be in there for several more weeks, due to the problems with him eating on his own. They were very clear about it.

On Sunday night, I realized how bad his eating was when they gave me figures.  So, I asked for people to really pray about it. They did. SO GLAD!!  You know, I keep being amazed all the time about what God does. Why? I know He does amazing things! I remember my aunt telling me "suprise is okay...it's part of the awe of God. It keeps us amazed!". True story.

Anyway--this week, he has done SO good! The eating habits have increased. Not right where they need to be, but close.  Close enough to be able to bring him home!!!

We are "room staying" tomorrow night. We will get to the hospital at 5, and we will stay in a room with him overnight. The NICU staff will be readily available, but it's a chance for us to see if we have peace to do this on our own.  He still has the fluid, and other things going on. He will come home on 1/2 liter of oxygen. This will take a while to decrease. BUT---he is coming home!!! He will be here, and be able to keep healing and growing here!

We will bring him home (provided everything keeps heading this way) Saturday afternoon.  Thanks for keeping us in prayer. Thanks for praising with us!

This is a new leg in this journey, but we are so excited for it. We need to get him through the flu/RSV season. He will need to keep improving on food, oxygen, and everything else.  Jaden will have Neo-neurology appointments (for the "insult" in his cerebellum); eye appointments until steadiness is proved; physical therapy for a few years; cardiologist appointments; and doc appointments (weekly).  These will be his "field trips" :)

We know God has a reason and a purpose. Continuing to pray for opportunities to testify.  Know that we are so grateful for all of you who have been walking with us in this.No one wants this type of   attention, but we are so thankful that God is the One who gets the praise in it all.  Not sure why He picked us for this situation, but thankful He is carrying us.  So thankful for the family we have in you. The love and prayers are why we are where we are!  All the love, support, help--such a blessing!! There is no way to fully express how we feel. Thanks always!!!
