Medical Rock Stars

Nurses are awesome.  Can we just admit that?  Seriously, they are the rockstars of medicine.  That's what I think, and this is my blog, so that's what I'm writing about. 

I had to have a minor procedure done yesterday, and I must say, the nurses I encountered were so incredible.  I think they have the harder jobs, and yet, tend to be the most personable and kind.  The nurses I encountered, most male, were so funny too!  There I was, dressed up in my gown (ha ha), and laughing hysterically thanks to them. 

There is a special calling for nurses, and I am thankful for those who have chosen nursing as their profession.  Thank you for your kindness, your smiles, and for being personable.  Sure, there are some less than stellar nurses out there who will gripe about anything, but for the most part, I think they tend to be incredible people with an incredible gift of mercy and kindness. 

So, to all of those out there who are nurses, thank you.  You are amazing.
