Oh, Mom!

Last night, my mother had me rolling with laughter. She is one funny woman I tell you. Here's the recap:

After talking about my pregnancy and such:
Mom: Oh my!
Me: What? You are surprised I haven't been hard to deal with, as far as Andy is concerned? Sheesh!
Mom: No, I just saw a bill from the dentist (tells me amount), your dad has been trying to get me off the phone to go eat, and probably to show me this.
Me: Yikes! Why is it so much? What in the world is he having done?
Mom: A crown he has fell out over Spring Break, and I think they are going to have to put in a bridge.
Me: His teeth are so messed up. And, why does he want to go to dinner? He has no teeth, what's he going to eat? Soup? (snicker snicker)
Mom: How can I get hearing aides if he's going to spend all our money on his teeth?
Me: And I always brag about how healthy my parents are, one will be eating through a straw soon and the other won't be able to hear anyone, great.
Mom: Well, at least I won't have to hear him slurping his food.

With that last comment, I laughed so hard tears were spilling out of my eyes. Every now and then, my mom throws out a hilarious comment, that catches me off guard. I just love her.
