The fortune cookie with no fortune

Sunday, we met a fabulous friend for lunch at a Chinese buffet. The food was wonderful, the conversation delightful, and of course, we ended the meal with fortune cookies. These always make me laugh because they are so utterly ridiculous. But Sunday? No fortune was found in my cookie when I cracked it open. Is that a bad sign or a good one I wonder?

hmmmm. very odd to be missing the little note inside. I'm leaning towards it being a good sign though. :o)
