Bring on the cool air

Today, it is finally cooler in our neck of the words. Hooray! It feels so good outside. The sun is shining, but there is a crispness in the air. Ah, fall. Welcome. In fact, it has not even reached 70 degrees out, and it is so refreshing! Tonight, it is supposed to drop into the 40s, a nice change from what it has been, to say the least.

Since area schools began fall break as of the final school bell today, all football games will be played tonight. And you know I love football games, especially as the weather cools down. Besides, I become completely wrapped up in the action as "my boys" take the field. The students I once taught are all, suddenly, "mine," and I cheer for them like a proud momma would. There are even a few I have scolded a bit for poor sportsmanship, but that is only because I want them to do well, in the game and in life.

So, I will meet my husband tonight for dinner, go train a client, then we are off to the game. Sounds like a pretty great evening, especially for a Thursday.
