I was going to write something profound, something wonderful, something that would "wow" everyone whose eyes fell upon my words concerning my friend Peggy. But you know what I have come up with? NOTHING! Every line that comes into my head gets shoved and pushed by another until they are all lying around in a heaping mess, each vying for position to be shared.
Myabe it would be easier to write if she wasn't so stinking incredible. I do not seem to have the talent to gather together, in prose or poem, the words that will do Peggy justice. She allowed me to catch a glimpse of Heaven, it's beauty and grace. She allowed me to see what it looks like to have one live out her faith, daily, even when no one was watching. She was an example of what a godly wife is, a living, breathing, Proverbs 31 woman. She was, simply put, magnificent.
Maybe in a few days I will be able to disassemble the lines currently tangled together in my mind and form a coherent tribute to my sweet friend. Until then, I pray her family is experiencing peace that surpasses understanding.
