Thanks to a friend of mine, I have come across some books by Cindy Whitmarsh, wife of pro beach volleyball player, Mike Whitmarsh. She's a personal trainer, and her testimony is a lot like mine. Well, the beginning of it anyway, I am not yet where she is physically. So, I purchased two of her books, and did a workout out from this one today. I decided to just skip over levels one and two and go right into level 3. Yea, I may have to jump on down to level 2 if I plan on surviving. I am wiped out. I don't feel the muscle fatigue like I usually do after lifting, but the cardio work that is thrown in had me huffin and puffin like a crazy person. Having accomplished a few challenging tasks in my life, I guess I overestimated my own fitness level. Wow, nothing like a book to completely humble a girl!
Such is life. For the results I am looking for, I will swallow this bite of humble pie and proceed as I need to stick with the program, learn a few new moves to pass on to my clients along the way, and reach my own goals. Right now? I just need a shower!
