Fun times, good music

Saturday night, Andy and I headed out to hear our friends Reco and Joey sing. These two are wonderful friends of ours whom we love dearly. Reco is the reason Andy and I ever met, and Joey is our "son." We love these two men, and are thankful for them. Plus, they have been truly gifted musically.

Sunday, we went out to support our friend Joel who was in town for the Nashville Songwriter's Festival. The boy is ridiculous with his guitar, really, it's insane to hear and watch him.


While Joel was here, I made the passing comment of wanting a "Magic Bullet." When Andy and I returned home after hearing Joel play, we found this gift. You would have thought I had just gotten a new car the way I reacted. But hey, I have been wanting one for a while...


After a week of grieving for the loss of our friend Peggy, this is exactly what we needed. We are blessed!
