For my running friends

First of all, if there is a Fleet Feet near you, that's where you need to go to find your running shoes. They know what they are talking about. And, if you have done a considerable amount of running/walking, you know that the right pair of shoes can make all the difference in the world. Truly, check them out.

Secondly, I got this sweet pair of Nike shoes the other day. They are my new best friend(s). It feels like I'm running on foam cushions, they are so amazing. Mind you, they aren't cheap, but they are worth every dime. Sadly, the most expensive shoes in my closet are my running shoes. Everything else? Typically found at Target or the Shoe Carnival. But, my running shoes? That's where I spend my money because I'm already abusing my limbs by going running close to every day as it is. So, they deserve the finer things in life.

Happy trails all, hope you are enjoying the sunshine, and the abilities we have to actually get out and run.

Chelle are you running for a reason or just running to stay fit. I did my first half marathon last week. It was harder than ever but thanks to my worship music I survived.

to stay fit now. I have done one full marathon and three halves. I am done with anything other than 5Ks now. easier distance and less stress for my ankle, which has a plate and screws in it!

Thanks for the info! There aren't any Fleet Feet stores near me, so I was going to try Road Runner Sports when we go to San Diego. Is that about the same thing? I figured out this weekend that I have the wrong shoes. I did the wet test and I have a normal foot whereas the shoes I have apparently have more arch support than I need. So I'm going to go to Road Runner and see if they can fit me with the correct shoes.

And it's so funny you mentioned how much you paid for your running shoes. Normally I shop at Payless for summer shoes and Penney's for winter but I'm planning on going all out for the running shoes, baby! Hopefully the hubby won't mind too much...

Hey girl! I don't know too much about Road Runner Sports, but I know they have a good reputation. If you have a normal foot, I would try the ones I got. Mine are a cushion shoe, and boy are they cushiony. The husband won't mine, just tell him he won't have to rub your feet as much because they'll be in better shoes! :)
